Bumblebee’s Story: A Fight for Survival🐱❤️🩹
Bumblebee was abandoned at a barn during the freezing winter left to fend for herself and eventually surrendered to ARF. 🥺We thought her struggles were over—but during her spay surgery, a mammary lump was discovered and urgently removed.
Her recovery was rough. 💔 Bee refused to eat, resisted medication, and sank into depression. Her incision reopened and became infected, emergency surgery was needed. For weeks, she needed round-the-clock care—then just as she began to heal, she developed a severe respiratory infection and painful eye ulcers. One eye eventually ruptured and had to be removed.
Through it all, Bumblebee has shown incredible strength—and thanks to her devoted caregivers, she’s now healing, purring, and finally feeling safe.💞
♥️A heartfelt thank-you to Southpointe Pet Hospital—not just for their care at every step, but for going above and beyond when one of their amazing vets took Bee home for a week to personally help her recover.
🌟How You Can Help? Bumblebee’s extensive medical care—surgeries, antibiotics, wound care, and ongoing recovery—has come at a significant cost. 🐾 We’re asking for your support to help cover her expenses so we can continue providing her with the love and medical attention she needs.

💚💙Who says warm fuzzies can’t come in the form of heated water bowls?
Big thanks to ARF Alberta - Animal Rescue Foundation for donating a whole cartload of heated dishes to the Task Force!
These dishes are a game changer when the temperature drops — helping ensure pets and community cats have access to fresh, unfrozen water all year long.
With Alberta weather doing its thing (aka all four seasons in a day), this kind of support is incredibly appreciated — especially for outdoor pets and feral cats that depend on us for care.
